How long should you speak when answering an interview question?

Knowing how to answer a question is as important as the question being asked. Most candidates fall into two categories: those from whom getting answers of more than one word is like pulling teeth and those who ramble on for several minutes to make sure they don't miss anything. Some go on so long that the hiring manager starts checking e-mail and has forgotten which question was asked.

There actually is an appropriate amount of time to speak when answering a question. That is just one of the many issues this webinar will address in great detail. Here are some other issues that you need to know:

• There are only three types of questions an interviewer can ask. Knowing which type will determine how you answer the question. Not knowing the type of question will cause you to ramble and maybe never answer the question.
