Content curation and distribution is the new darling of social media.
The funny thing is that I've been doing this for the last 15 years. I got this idea to distribute content to my network when I first heard Jim Cecil talk about email drip nurturing 15 years ago. I've been sending out hot tips on how to improve hiring and retention long before social media burst onto the scene.
Next to speaking to groups, drip nurturing is the next best strategy to convey thought leadership, expertise, helpful ideas and suggestions, reinforce your value, put yourself in the forefront of your target audience's mind all the time, pr, awareness, personal branding, and so on. The list is almost endless for the benefits of drip nurturing.
Social Media provides a platform for accelerating and amplifying your message to many more than you could traditionally reach on email. Now your contacts can distribute your content to their networks. If you're not using content curation and distribution to dramatically boost your marketing efforts, you're probably still stuck in a 1970ish model of communicating with your network.
Is it time to accelerate your tactics to bring them up to date? This is the prime focus of the Chair Coaching Program I am running in which over 75 chairs around the world are participating. Many of these chairs are starting to see how easy it is to connect, engage, find, and attract potential CEOs for their groups after only a few months of work and a little time investment.
Are you ready to take the next step in leveraging your marketing efforts and time toward attracting CEOs for your group? If so, shoot me an email or complete the contact form on the blog and let's get you started on filling your group and having a continuous abundance of CEO leads.
I've attached a podcast I came across that captures the essence of content curation and distribution. I thought you might like the link. If you have a few minutes of downtime, this is worth listening to. As you listen to the podcast, think about how you could use these techniques to attract CEOs.
